Discover what city artist Gijs Van Hee achieved in the city with his project "Mechelen Muurt" and cycle past the most beautiful walls. Explore a completely different facet of our diverse city and ride mostly through the suburbs and lesser-known streets in the center. Along our route, we also discover the green side of the city. We can stop at a cool local café if you want.
You'll set off with an experienced cycling guide — a true local with a great passion for Mechelen and street art. He or she will enthusiastically share stories about everything you see. What stories lie behind the murals? What techniques did the artists use? And... you’ll also get to play an active role during this tour! Together, we’ll discover and interpret the stunning artworks. A great experience to share with your team!
We provide a solid, stylish city bike with a helmet (if desired), a relaxed atmosphere, a colorful backdrop, a cozy break along the way, and great stories. We’ll cycle about 12 to 15 km at an easy pace. This activity is suitable for anyone with a basic level of fitness.
