Description
What dishes will we make?
Lobiani: a savory bread filled with bean puree.
Lobio Qotanshi: a rich bean stew, spicy and full of flavor.
Mstvane Lobios Pkhali: a fresh spread of green beans, mixed with walnuts and herbs.
Optional tasting: homemade white cabbage pickles, traditionally served alongside lobio.
Mchadi: the classic Georgian corn bread that perfectly complements bean dishes.
The Georgian legume culture is exceptional due to the variety in beans and peas, each with a unique preparation. The richness of flavor is unmistakable, created by spices, garlic, coriander, and walnuts that give the dishes depth. These dishes, representing a deep tradition, are present at both daily meals and festive supras. Finally, the interactive experience of cooking, tasting, and learning together creates a cozy atmosphere.
This workshop is a tasty mix of learning, discovering, and experiencing together, where legumes in the Georgian way gain a whole new dimension.
