During this workshop, you will discover some of the most beloved Georgian pastry dishes and the rich traditions associated with them. You will get acquainted with:
Khachapuri, the famous cheese bread that symbolizes hospitality and coziness
Lobiani, the bean (sometimes bacon) filled bread that exudes simplicity and nourishment
Guruli Ghvezeli, a festive bread from the Guria region closely linked to New Year traditions
Kubdari, the hearty meat bread from Svaneti that reflects the strength and culture of the mountain area
Under guidance, you will learn to knead, fill, and bake the dough, while hearing the stories behind each dish and discovering how they are intertwined with their regions. Of course, there will be generous tasting and sharing, as is customary in Georgian cuisine, where enjoying together is central.
