In this course you get an introduction to spoon carving! After a short introduction I give each participant a roughed out wooden spoon form that I prepared with my axe. I teach the different knife grips for the 2 knives and all participants can carve their own personalized spoon! We start with the same design but in the end each spoon will be unique! I also hand out all the necessary information for giving your spoons the perfect smooth finish with sandpaper and oil. Using your hands to create something from a piece of wood brings so much joy and rest to the mind, I hope to share this craft with you!
