Description
We start with a short introduction where we take you into the world of sand sculptures. You will learn about the techniques, the materials, the tools used, the artists, and some of the worldwide festivals.
Then the participants are divided into groups of 8 to 10 people. Per group, you discuss on paper which sand sculpture you want to make. Next, you draw up a plan and determine a clear division of tasks within the team.
With the help of shovels, buckets, rakes, and smaller tools, you start shaping your artwork. Additionally, you can of course also use anything you find on the beach, such as shells, sticks, and seaweed. With a bit of luck, you can even incorporate unique elements, such as the shell of a squid.
As a conclusion, each group presents its creation to the others. Here you explain the subject and tell more about the concept and the chosen approach.
Finally, the facilitator chooses a winner based on originality and finish. The winning team receives an original and fun trophy as a reward for their teamwork and creativity.
