Dive into the colorful world of ceramic tiles, where each piece tells a story – and some even a joke! From royal palaces in Egypt and Portugal, where tiles were probably the only 'cool' thing in the hot summers, to your very own living room. Transform a dull wall with homemade tiles, or make fun coasters for a friend. Come by and who knows, your tile might become the talk of the town, or at least of your living room. Come and let your creativity run free while you create a beautiful ceramic artwork with others that will become a lasting memory. This workshop lasts 2 hours and you each make 2 tiles (1 in a solid color and 1 with a drawing to create a checkerboard pattern). I also bring various inspirational images so everyone can get started right away!
The works will then be taken back to the studio for firing, after which they can be picked up.
