Description
The organization chooses a question. For example: “How do we remain socially relevant as an organization?”, “How do we ensure we still exist in 10 years?”, “How can we truly commit to sustainability?”... Through the Tower Builder methodology, the answers to these questions come from the members of the organization themselves.
We start with a brief explanation of the methodology and a short introduction to its origin. Then the participants collectively choose a central main question. To answer this, they work with four sub-questions: What should we stop, start, do more of, and do less of?
In small groups, participants work in a creative workshop with hammers, saws, nails, colored panels, and wooden slats. They shape their answers into an artistic and visual creation. Each group covers a panel, with imagination and collaboration being central.
The panels are then attached to a tower (or an alternative setup, depending on the location), with each side representing one sub-question. This culminates in a presentation moment.
Afterwards, there is an interactive reflection round with a Dixit element: participants link the visual panels to the corresponding questions or answers and engage in conversation. This exchange leads to valuable insights, concrete action points, and agreements on ownership and timing.
