Description
Wind Farm is a unique and hands-on team building around sustainability, creativity, and collaboration. Teams are challenged to build a wind-driven structure that can lift a weight at least 1 meter off the ground using wind energy.
Each team receives a box of building materials with which they must work as efficiently as possible. But there's an extra challenge: each component has its own CO2 footprint. Teams must not only build a working structure but also strategically think about how to keep their total ecological impact as low as possible.
After the building phase, the interactive sustainability challenge begins via an app-based game. During this challenge, teams perform various tasks to offset the CO2 footprint of their structure. The game combines quiz questions about sustainability and innovation with creative photo and video assignments that provide extra energy, fun, and team dynamics.
Finally, all structures are tested with an electric leaf blower, and we calculate the final net CO2 score. The team with a working structure and the best balance between performance and sustainability is declared the winner.
Wind Farm is an original team building where collaboration, problem-solving, creativity, communication, and strategic insight are central. The activity can be organized both indoors and outdoors and is ideal for teams that want to collaborate interactively around innovation and sustainability.
