Schedule of the day with the standard formula:
10:30 AM: The guide will meet you at the music kiosk on the Kouter for the first part of the walk.
11:15 AM: At the first stop, we provide you with a Ghent aperitif with snacks: coupe Gantoise or Ghent beer or soft drink and Ghent delights (head cheese, cheese, olives, salami, … and Tierenteyn mustard).
12:00 PM: The guide will pick you up for the second part of the walk ‘Ghent at its boiling point’. Through tasty stories and spicy anecdotes, you will dive into the history of our culinary habits and discover the rich Ghent culinary offerings. The history of our city will also be covered.
1:00 PM: We reserve a table for you at a typical Ghent establishment for a Flemish regional appetizer and main course with 2 drinks included.
2:30 PM: The guide will join you for the third part of the walk.
3:00 PM: The walk ends with a delicious coffee or tea with a plate of sweet Ghent specialties, such as the cuberdon, chocolate dragons, Ghent lace cookies….
