Description
In this unique, green, and challenging competition, you and your team will build a wind turbine. Different teams will work with first-class construction materials according to a blueprint. However, the blades are created according to your own design. Which team generates the most energy? A competition with sustainability as the theme; it requires collaboration, problem-solving skills, and communication. There are various tasks to be divided within each team.
You will work with a Meccano system developed by us for the construction of the tower. Using bolts and nuts, the parts are attached according to the blueprint. The blades are made according to your own design. This is done with aluminum tubes, adapters for 3- and 4-blade wind blades, laser-cut MDF holders that can be chosen and attached in 4 angle degrees and 4 length sizes. The dynamo must be earned by cracking a code, with knowledge about sustainability.
Participants who have no affinity with technology are challenged with thinking, strategic, and agility games that have something to do with the theme. With an assortment of now more than 200 different games, we can always place a varied, extensive selection.
In the finale, all participants stand around the wind turbines, which are tested... How many Amperes of current does each wind turbine generate?
